Having login problems? Before contacting us, please read!

Are you having problems logging in to your Family Historian account? We have received numerous emails from existing Family Historian users who are trying unsuccessfully to login because they have to do so to apply for an upgrade discount. The problem in most cases is the same: the reason you can’t login is because you don’t have an account. Often people assume that they must have an account because they are own a previous version of Family Historian. That assumption is not correct. Even if you are a long-time user of Family Historian, you may well not have an account because up to now you have not needed one to use the program. In fact, you will only have an account if you previously created one when buying something on the Family Historian store after 17th Feb 2017. Whether or not you already have an account does NOT affect whether you are eligible for a discount or not. But you do need to have one to apply for a discount. So if you do not already have an account, you will need to create one. To create an account, please click here and then register.
