If you bought Family Historian 6 with the offer of a free upgrade to version 7 when released, please be sure to carefully read Free Upgrade Offers before proceeding. Some free upgrade offers can be redeemed on this page but not all.
Upgrade discounts are available for holders of version 6 and version 5 licences for Family Historian only. If you have a version earlier than 5 and you wish to upgrade, you need to buy the full product (on installation, it will detect your previous version and automatically upgrade you).
The discount for version 6 users normally starts at 30% of the cost of the full product. The discount for version 5 users is normally 20%.
To apply for a discount, you will need to provide your most recent licence key. You will also need to be logged in to a Family Historian account. If you already have a Family Historian account, please login now (click the login link below). Please note that even if you are a long-time user of Family Historian, you may well not have an account because up to now you have not needed one to use the program. You will only have an account if you previously created one when buying something on the Family Historian store after 17th Feb 2017. Whether or not you already have an account does not affect whether you are eligible for a discount or not. But you do need to have one to apply for a discount. Discounts in all cases are conditional upon Calico Pie being able to confirm your licence key. Only one upgrade discount is allowed per licence.
