Charting Companion 8 (download for Windows)
If you wish to add more charts to the many chart types already supported by Family Historian, or if you have a special chart requirement that it doesn’t already support, you may wish to consider Charting Companion. The program features a number of charts and tools that are not currently provided by Family Historian, such as a DNA Matrix, DNA Simulation, DNA Matches, Fractal Tree, Dandelion Chart, Descendant Fan Chart, and Trellis Chart. It also supports Embroidery charts and 3D Printing.
Charting Companion installs as a companion product for Family Historian and displays charts using the data already contained in your Family Historian projects. The installation automatically adds a Family Historian plugin (that is, add-on feature) which means that you can run it directly from within Family Historian. To do so, click Plugins on the Tools menu, select Charting Companion in the list, and click Run. To make it even easier to access, you even can add Charting Companion to the Tools menu (before clicking Run, click the More button, and then tick Add to Tools Menu).
